Sarah and David met in 1996 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren when her Dad's new job as the Senior Pastor brought their family to Maryland. They were in 6th grade Sunday school class together.
A few years later, in their Junior year of high school, Sarah and David both attended a youth event at Mount Saint Mary’s. They quickly became friends and have been inseparable ever since.
After high school, David and Sarah went to Bridgewater College in Virginia. In those four years they made a lot of great friends, went to Australia to study abroad, adopted their adorable kitties Meow and Melinda, and have countless memories. After college David worked in Frederick with Bechtel and Sarah started graduate school in Interior Design at the George Washington University.
On their six year anniversary David proposed to Sarah in the first place that he saw her, the sanctuary at the Frederick Church of the Brethren.
Currently, David is working for Bechtel in Knoxville, TN and Sarah is finishing up her Master's at GWU. They will be living in Tennessee this summer, and will hopefully be moving back to Frederick early 2010.
Sarah and David are extremely blessed to have found each other and thank God for bringing them together!
